The new site is now live! The official launch date is on Tuesday, September 2, but as best we can tell, the site is fully functional.

If you’re a current user, you will need to use the “forgot password” link at the top of the page to recover your password. Then you should be able to customize your blog however you like.

We’re planning a lot of publicity for the site next week, so we highly recommend you get your account in good shape so the large number of readers who’ll be directed to our site will be able to find yours!

One other change: the URL of this blog has changed. It’s now, and the blog has been officially renamed “Research Blogging News.”

I’m having a bit of trouble getting my account up and running. The response I am getting is that my e-mail address isn’t connected to my account. I’ve tried every e-mail address I possess, but none of them are working so I’m not able to get the password…

I am also having trouble reactivating my account. I have requested my password several times starting approximately 3 1/2 hours ago. Is this normal and I am just impatient?

To clarify what I posted earlier, I have now figured out which e-mail account I have connected to my researchblogging account. I determined this yesterday at around noon and since then have requested my password three times, to no avail.

Your password email should get sent out immediately. Check your spam filters to make sure it’s coming through. If you still can’t find it, send me an email with details about your situation and we’ll take care of it.

Is there any chance that the postings collected at ResearchBlogging.Com can be made available through RSS/Atom feeds?

Perhaps that is an idea for the future!
