December 2nd, 2010 Editor's Selections 2 CommentsJarrett Byrnes focuses on posts in ecology, environmental sciences, and evolution. He blogs at I’m a chordata, urochordata!
First off, I want to say, all of the entries for NESCent’s travel award contest to Science Online 2011 are fabulous. They really are some of the best examples of science blogging out there. Heck, in my opinion, you all get Editor’s Selections. I’ll leave it to the good folk of the NESCent award to split the hairs of awesome amongst you.
There were also a number of other great posts this week, so check out what I’m selecting below!
- Scorpions, delicious but deadly!
- What’s that nasty stuff on the shoreline? MUNG!
- Afraid of orcas? They’ve got nothing on the newly discovered Leviathan melvillei!
