smalljarrett2Jarrett Byrnes focuses on posts in ecology, environmental sciences, and evolution. He blogs at I’m a chordata, urochordata!

  • After a special issue on Darwinian Fisheries Management, Rob Goldstein sits down with some of the authors to discuss the topic in detail. I’ve gotta say, I like this talk-with-the-authors blog style.
  • Recently, PNAS changed its submission system so that members of the Academy can no longer directly communicate papers to the journal. David at The Atavism discussed one of the papers that may have led to that change.
  • And, to take us home, there’s a wonderful long loving description over at Neurotopia of research on Hyena sex. Hot.

This design is wicked! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
